Distress

Dark marks

Start to shark

The faint hint of light

In my mind

And I push the switch

To stop the cloud

Of black smoke

From ruining my mind

And tattering it

With distress

Can’t rest

Because my worst fears

Conquer my collected process

And I address these

And push them away

But they won’t stay away

They block every smile

With a rotted thought

That makes me sick

And you can stick it to my past

I’m gonna keep standing up

Let’s see how long they last
